Although natural stone is durable, countertops and vanities need to be cleaned and maintained on an annual basis in order to prevent degradation caused by household chemicals and cleaners, cosmetics, environmental pollutants and everyday dirt, grease and grime. Heavily used counter surfaces require extra attention. A good quality penetrating sealer works below the surface of the stone. The sealers that we use are designed to clog pores to reduce the absorbency of the stone and prevent unwanted liquids, oils and dirt from penetrating the stone. Once the sealer has been applied and allowed to cure, we polish and power buff the surface to maximize the beauty of the stone. Your granite may not have been properly sealed by the original fabricator. We offer 'one off' or scheduled maintenance programs, customized to your requirements.
